Welcome to the The Center for Spirituality. Please see what it has to offer to religious liberals in the Boston area.
Current offerings include:
Mothers’ Spirituality (daytime and evening meeting times)
Living with Loss - One Year After and Beyond
Prayer Group (For Those Who Already Pray and Those Who Can’t Quite Imagine It)
The Center for Spirituality has been created to provide time and space for you to find rest, reflection and renewal. As its director and minister, I hope to give participants the encouragement, guidance and safety to explore your hopes, dreams and concerns in an atmosphere of trust and love.
The Center for Spirituality refers to a specific geographic location (in Salem, MA) but also to an inward-looking and honest relationship with one’s self and others. Our spiritual lives should be the center and the most significant aspect of our daily reality. Unfortunately they often come much further on or even last in life’s priorities, given how busy and overwhelming things have become for so many people.
My purpose is to offer a designated time each week to reflect on who we are and where we are going, in a group of liberal religious seekers. While not a substitute for membership in a particular congregation, the Center for Spirituality exists to offer sacred community, along with delight, thought-provoking conversation and the opportunity to make friends with people who share your life concerns and experiences.
The Center for Spirituality is designed for people of any or no faith tradition.
All groups will meet on a weekly basis (unless otherwise specified below) and will be led by Unitarian Universalist minister Reverend Susan Moran.
Rev. Moran is also available for pastoral care for individuals and couples. These services are short term and focus on specific topics. Please email svamoran@Yahoo.com for additioinal information.
Further details on the groups can be found via the links below.
